License Management

This article explains B5 Secure licensing terms, trial restrictions, license-key validity and how to manage subscriptions and developer licenses.

Terms

• Developer license — entitles one developer to build with B5 Secure.
• Project subscription — covers a project’s use of the framework and its updates.
• Source package — a one-time grant of source code you own (see Source Packages).

Trial restrictions

The trial license is time-limited and intended for evaluation. Some advanced capabilities are gated to paid grades; the B5 Secure tools report your current entitlement.

License keys & permissible mix-use

License keys validate your entitlement at build and runtime. “Permissible mix-use” covers the supported ways to combine library and source-package usage across projects. Generate and update keys with the B5 Secure tools.
